PTAQ October Workshop: Develop Confidence in Classroom Dissections
Join us in person on Thursday 29 October at 4:00 pm at Genesis Christian College Bray Park for an engaging, hands-on professional learning experience focused on building confidence with classroom dissections.
Get hands-on with the dissection of a lamb brain and bovine eye, developing practical techniques while examining the fascinating anatomical structures and functions of these complex organs.
Designed with classroom application in mind, Eleni Amarandos will give teachers an opportunity to practise their dissection skills in a supportive environment, strengthen their anatomical knowledge and take away practical approaches they can use with their own students.
Whether dissections are new to you or you simply want to refresh and extend your skills, come along and develop the confidence to create meaningful and engaging practical learning experiences for your students.
☕ Arriving early? Tea and coffee will be available from 3:15 pm, with the workshop beginning at 4:00 pm.
Cost: $100 for non‑members or complimentary for PTAQ student and teacher members (please ensure you are logged into your PTAQ account to access free member registration)
⏰ Registrations close: Monday 26 October 2026. For enquiries, please contact administrator@ptaq.org.au
