How to teach psychology content in the classroom
Back due to popular demand! Alex Phillips & Alison King present ideas on how to teach psychology content in the classroom, a follow-on from their 2023 PTAQ Conference Session.
Alex’s session will share several engaging and practical ways to teach the Key studies in Psychology classrooms. He has developed a range of different interactive activities that can be easily implemented that help develop the understanding of concepts within the key studies. Alex is an early career teacher at Ferny Grove State High School.
Alison will share sample activities from the syllabus including student feedback and how this assists student learning. There will also be an opportunity for you to share your creative ideas. Alison has been teaching Psychology since the syllabus was implemented in QLD. She is an endorser, confirmer and marker, teaching at Emmaus College in Rockhampton.
The price for this workshop is $50 but is free for Teacher & Student Members (you will need to log into your account to access the discount).
This workshop will be online and a link will be sent the day before the event.
